XHTML/CSS Coders
We are currently looking for freelance XHTML/CSS Coders to work with our internal team or with other external developers to develop and build websites using standards compliant mark-up.
You will be expected to take a design created in Adobe® Photoshop® or Fireworks® and produce a XHTML/CSS compliant template from it which we will then populate with information.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in website production
- Excellent coding of mark-up in accessible XHTML, to at least WAI AA standard
- Able to work with a minimum of supervision but to tight specifications and timescales
- Experience in validating and providing proof of accessibility
- Ability to create and work with clearly laid out CSS
- Experience in validating mark-up across a variety of browsers
Beneficial Skills
- Ability to code and/or implement JavaScript
Rates of Pay
- Fully negotiable upon experience
Contract length
- Short term (weekly/monthly) depending upon our requirements
